Wesley founded Ascendesign after a career on every side of the construction table — from recording studios (soundproofing, acoustics, signal and data design) and historic renovations of banks and mansions to retail, government and high-rise construction. Subcontractor, designer, builder, general contractor, and now commercial developer carrying his own projects and his own risk.
VP of Field Operations
Mike owns project delivery end to end: estimating and preconstruction, budget and schedule, buyout and daily field execution. He builds and maintains our subcontractor bench — some jobs take him 60–80 bids to find the right crew — and holds safety, site security and quality control across every active project. Because he prices the work he builds, estimating errors surface early rather than at closeout.
VP of Client Experience
Builds relationships with architects, designers and developers, and makes sure every project starts with the right coordination. She is also a licensed broker in Illinois and Indiana focused on high-end residential, commercial and hospitality real estate, and leads Region Advisory at @properties (regionadvisory.com) and nyeteam.com.
